ATF collaborATe 2026 Brings India’s Assistive Technology Ecosystem to Bengaluru

30/10/2026

ATF collaborATe 2026, billed by AssisTech Foundation (ATF) as India’s largest assistive technology (AT) ecosystem summit, will take place at the Bangalore International Centre in Domlur, Bengaluru, on 30 November and 1 December 2026. ATF is organising it in collaboration with H T Parekh Foundation, and says it is the first initiative of its kind.

What is ATF collaborATe 2026?

According to the invitation circulated by ATF, the two-day summit brings together leaders from technology, artificial intelligence (AI), public policy, assistive technology and social development. Its stated aim is to shape the future of disability inclusion and to educate people about the AT ecosystem.

ATF describes itself as dedicated to building the world’s largest AT ecosystem. It says its network spans more than 500 startups in India and over 1,200 internationally, and that it has accelerated more than 80 startups. Those startups, ATF says, have introduced over 120 products and registered more than 60 patents across 16 disability categories. ATF also says its work has reached over one million persons with disabilities, and that co-founder and CEO Prateek Madhav received the National Award for Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities from the President of India. These figures are ATF’s own and have not been independently verified by Bharat CPO.

What is on the programme?

ATF lists the following highlights across the two days:

  • Opening plenary and keynotes on both days, with addresses from senior leadership, government officials and disability advocates.
  • CSR and AT in Education roundtables on strategic CSR funding pathways and sustained, multi-year backing for AT innovators.
  • Technical deep-dives and masterclasses on using technology, including AI, to help founders move from product development to market scale.
  • The ATF Awards ceremony, recognising startups, corporates, NGOs and government bodies.

Dates, venue and day-by-day schedule

Day 1 (Monday, 30 November, from 11:30 AM) features a keynote address, technology masterclasses, an AT Startup Experience Zone, a curtain raiser and an executive dinner. Invited talks are listed from Padma Bhushan Mallika Sarabhai and Padma Shri Shekhar Naik, former captain of the Indian blind cricket team. The ATF Awards close the summit. The venue is the Bangalore International Centre (BIC), Domlur, Bengaluru.

How can delegates register?

ATF is inviting delegates to reserve a Delegate Pass through its online registration form. Bharat CPO has not seen pricing or capacity details; check with the organiser before travelling.

Bharat CPO Perspective: why it matters for CPOs

For prosthetists, orthotists and O&P business owners, the summit is less a clinical meeting than a window onto the funding and startup side of Indian assistive technology. The CSR roundtables are the most relevant item: corporate funding already underpins much of the free limb and calliper distribution in India, as seen in the ALIMCO-HURL CSR partnership and in the debate over free distribution camps and the private market. Clinics and manufacturers that want to be partners in CSR-funded programmes, rather than bystanders, can use a forum like this to meet funders and founders.

The Startup Experience Zone may also be useful for clinicians who want to see new devices before they reach the market, and to give early feedback on fit, durability and rehabilitation needs. ATF is also running the sixth edition of its awards; see Bharat CPO’s report on the ATF Awards 2026 nominations. Readers following government support for devices may also find the NDFDC assistive device loans report relevant.

The agenda as circulated does not name specific O&P sessions or speakers, so the extent of prosthetic and orthotic content is unclear. Readers should treat the programme as ATF’s description and confirm details with the organiser.
