I completed my Bachelor’s degree in Prosthetics and Orthotics from the National Institute for Locomotor Disabilities (NILD), Kolkata.

I am currently exploring professional opportunities in the field of Prosthetics and Orthotics while continuing to enhance my clinical knowledge and skills.
What do you claim is your specialty – your O&P passion?
My passion lies in patient-centered rehabilitation, particularly in helping individuals regain mobility, independence, and confidence through appropriate prosthetic and orthotic interventions.
What do you like most about practicing O&P?
What I enjoy most is witnessing the positive impact that a well-designed prosthesis or orthosis can have on a patient’s quality of life. I also like assessment part of the management.
What frustrates you about O&P?
Greater awareness and accessibility are needed.

What is your greatest patient story in O&P?
During my clinical training, I had the opportunity to work with a patient who had lost confidence after a lower-limb amputation and stroke or any kind of mobility impairment ,all these cases are great for me not a single one .
How do you build rapport with patients in your care?
I believe rapport begins with active listening, empathy, and clear communication. I take time to understand each patient’s concerns, goals, and expectations, ensuring they feel respected, involved, and supported throughout their rehabilitation journey.
