Where do you live?
I live in Kolhapur, Maharashtra, India.

Where did you study O&P?
I completed my education in Prosthetics and Orthotics at ALL INDIA INSTITUTE OF PHYSICAL MEDICINE AND REHABILITATION,MUMBAI.

When did you graduate?
I post graduated in 2025.

Where do you work now?
I currently work at Mobility Prosthetics and Orthotics Centre, where I provide patient-centered prosthetic and orthotic services.

What do you claim is your specialty – your O&P passion?
My primary passion is improving mobility, independence, and quality of life for patients through customized orthotic and prosthetic solutions. I have a particular interest in lower-limb rehabilitation and patient-specific device design.

What do you like most about practicing O&P?
What I enjoy most about practicing O&P is the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in people’s lives by helping them regain mobility, confidence, and independence.

What frustrates you about O&P?
One of the challenges in O&P is ensuring that all patients have timely access to high-quality care and advanced rehabilitation services. Limited awareness and delayed referrals can sometimes affect patient outcomes.

What is your greatest patient story in O&P?
One of my most memorable experiences was helping a patient regain the ability to walk independently after a significant mobility impairment. Witnessing their journey from dependence to confidence reinforced my commitment to the profession and highlighted the life-changing impact of prosthetic and orthotic care.

How do you build rapport with patients in your care?
I build rapport by listening carefully to each patient’s concerns, understanding their goals, and involving them in the decision-making process. Clear communication, empathy, and consistent follow-up help establish trust and ensure the best possible outcomes.
